These clubs meet during FA block of the school day, one day per week. Each student can join one club.

Board Games Rm. 283  Skinner We will play board games, as the name implies. Several games have been/will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have something else you would like to play.
Book Club Rm. 136 Thomsen If you're a reader or looking to become one, this club is for you! Come enjoy a chill place to relax and read for a little while. All are welcome!
Card Making Club Rm. 284 Byrd

"We create unique, hand-made, heart-warming cards for those in our community in need of a pick-me-up. Recipients include military personnel over seas, nursing homes, hospitilized children, cancer patients, etc. We are very busy around the holidays!

Our club is a great fit for those who are craftsy, want to work on their penmanship, & have a drive to give back to their community. Each individual is left to their own creative freedom as they design their card. But we do love to learn new, fun techniques on our own & then teach one another!"

Chess Club Rm. 256 Carpenter, M Chess Club is a club where people of all experience and skill level come to play. After a short lesson, members play against each other, sometimes matched against each other based on skill, but most times you play who you want to play. All boards, clocks, and pieces are provided.

Coloring Club Rm. 303 Hutton Need a place to decompress and unwind? Come join the coloring club as we enjoy the mindlessness of coloring!
Creative Writing Club Rm. 352 Harris, A Come explore different types of creative writing and share your short stories, poems, monologues, haikus ... you get the point. There will be optional writing prompts for those that need help coming up with ideas or just want to try something new.  All grades and languages welcome.
Crochet Club Rm. 127 Wisdom Are you a master of the single stitch, double stitch, and slip stitch? Or are you someone that hasn’t even mastered the flat circle yet? Either way Ms. Wisdom wants you in Crochet Club.
Crystals, Mandalas and Positive Affirmations Club Rm. 138 Emmett Join us to learn more about crystals and rocks, coloring mandalas, and positive affirmations. This club will support your well-being and self-empowerment! Rocks, journals, and coloring supplies will be provided.
Dance - Patterson  - 
Dungeons and Dragons Rm. 326 Allaman & Weeks, J D&D club allows students to explore the game Dungeons and Dragons and the creative hobby that surrounds it. Students will have a space to learn how to play the game, as well as work on designing characters, writing stories and other creative outlets.
E-Sports Rm. 255 Wallace, J Esports are video games that are played in a highly organized competitive environment. These games can range from popular, team-oriented multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs), to single player first person shooters, to survival battle royales, to virtual reconstructions of physical sports. Students will be expected to compete against other students in the building or against other schools. 
Environmental Club Rm. 258 Wallace, T Environmental Club is for students who are passionate about environmentalism and nature. If you want to sign up for this club, please be aware that we will be going outside when the weather allows this spring.

Future Teachers Club Rm. 351 Andrews Learn about a career in education and opportunities at Washington to intern at an elementary school and earn college credit. Whether you are interested in teaching preschool through college or working as a school psychologist or social worker, this is the club for you! We will be attending field trips to colleges, conferences and more! BTW: There are careers in education that make over $100,000 a year!
History Club Rm. 362 Thompson History is much more than a required class; it's also fun and fascinating! Comrades in Mr. Thompson's History Club will explore the past through tabletop & video games, movies, current events, show & tell, creative expression, art, music, and discussion. Mr.Michael Harris will be hosting a jazz band club in 141. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER'S COURSE.  You need to know how to play an instrument already and be willing to learn how to read music if play by ear. Mr. Harris will teach how to read music but cannot teach how to play instruments during this time if you're brand new to music. We will be learning how to play Jazz and Black American Music. The following positions are needed: Drum Set, Keyboard, Bass Guitar or Double Bass, Electric Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone. 

Latinos of Tomorrow Rm. 282 Franco Latinos of Tomorrow is a social and professional student organization that builds leaders through service, philanthropy, academics, and networking. 
Lord of the Rings Club Rm. 360 Brown & Matthews Lord of the Rings Club will meet in Mr. Brown's room. We will explore the majestic world of Middle Earth by viewing and discussing the extended versions of the original Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Making Comics Rm. 310 Graber We’ll write, draw, produce and publish our own comics. True stories, sad stories, made up stories, aliens, superheroes, funny talking animals or just normal people. Tell your own story with words and images.
Mindfulness Techniques Rm. 291 Tyler What is mindfulness? Mindfulness are about bringing your heart and mind together, and paying attention with an attitude of curiosity, self-compassion, and kindness. Just Breathe/Relax and enjoy the experience of mindfulness benifits for the human body.

Ping Pong Rm. 346 Jackson Ping Pong club is a full-body experience, focusing on hand eye coordination and gaming competitions. Beginners, intermediate, and experienced ping pong players are ALL welcome, anyone interested.
Puzzles/Journal Club Rm. 125 Downing Hello, introverts. Do you like to work on puzzles? Did you know there are many types of journals? Join Ms. Downing in Room 125 for a relaxing way to grow as a person.
Racket/Paddle Sports Club Small Gym Hoyer Students will par in sports that are played with rackets or paddles (ex. Badminton and Pickleball). Students will play games of doubles or singles depending on class size. Students would be responsible to wear appropriate clothes and shoes for physical activity. Students would be responsible for assisting in setting up and tearing down equipment. I will provide racket, paddles, birdies, pickleball and nets for this activity. 
ROTC Drone Club Rm. 109 McCormack Cadets Only must be 16 by May 20th, 2023. This club will provide extra time to prepare dedicated cadets to take and pass the FAA Commercial Drone Pilot test.
ROTC Puzzle and Problem Solving Club Rm. 111 McFadden Cadets only: Puzzle Club: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
ROTC Rockets and Robots Club Rm. 106 Delacy This club is restricted to Cadets currently enrolled in the Exploration of Space Course in ROTC. Cadets that join this club will be able to expand on the skills they learn in class to design, build, and program a variety of robots. You will also apply the physics principles taught in class to design and build air, water, and solid propellent rockets. You will have the opportunity to test your robots on our competition field and launch the rockets that you build.

Activities will be determined by the interests and needs of students. "
Sculpture & Craft 3D Club Rm. 308 Hansen We will be working with recycled and purchased materials making a variety of sculptures and crafts. This club will meet in room 308.
Senior Board Rm. 124 Stiff You must apply to be on senior board. At this time only Senior Board Members can meet on Fridays.

Spanish Movie Club Rm. 128 PARDO We will present films that have won awards or are characteristic of Hispanic American cultures, such as Roma, Like Water for Chocolate, Biographies of famous people, and documentaries from countries in the region.
Sports Club (K-State) Rm. 101 Weir My club is the Sports Club and location will be in Room 101. We will discuss, debate and build further knowledge on all sports.
Sports Management Club Big Gym Vincent Sports management is the business of sports and recreation. Sports managers can work for a variety of employers including professional teams, colleges, recreational departments and marketing firms.

Student Restorative Justice Team Rm. 353 Weeks Student Restorative Justice Team (SRJT) Students will be trained and implement Restorative Justice practices. Students will learn how to reduce and resolve conflicts on their own and in small groups. SRJT will be trained on how to conduct/lead restorative circles with their peers.
