Wildcat Mascot Survey

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of updating our beloved Wildcat mascot, and we want YOU to be a part of this exciting journey!

Why the update?

The current Wildcat has been a symbol of pride and unity for our school community since the 1960s. However, we recognize that the current mascot design, with its outdated drawing style and limited digital compatibility, no longer fully captures the essence of our school spirit. Additionally, various versions of the Wildcat have emerged over time, contributing to inconsistency in our visual representation.

The Mascot Update Process

Washington High School Administration worked with graphic designer Kent Wilson, owner of Kent Wilson Design, on options for a new mascot. There were focus groups with current students and alumni on their thoughts of what a new mascot should look like, and three final options have been proposed.

The final step is getting your invaluable input as we embark on this important initiative. By participating in this survey, you will help shape the future of our Wildcat mascot and ensure that it reflects the values and identity of our school.

Please take a few moments to provide your input and share your thoughts on the three new Mascot options. This survey will be open until Friday, February 16, at 5pm. Together, let's create a mascot that we can all be proud of for generations to come!
